What actually drives the final price

Model and capacity set the floor. From there, the biggest variables in Colorado are site access, pad type, and how the sauna gets powered. A flat backyard with an existing concrete pad and a nearby subpanel is the cheapest install. A foothills lot with grade, tight access, and a long electrical run costs more — sometimes meaningfully more.

Installation and site prep

Installation is handled by our team on your site — it isn't a DIY kit. Site prep is typically the biggest wild card. A level gravel pad is the most affordable base for most Colorado backyards; concrete is worth it for permanent installs on soft or sloped ground. We walk the site with you before quoting so there are no surprises.

Electrical costs

Most electric sauna heaters run on a 240V circuit. You'll want a licensed Colorado electrician to run a dedicated line from your panel — budget varies with distance, trenching, and panel capacity. We don't coordinate the electrical for you, but we're happy to share what heater specs your electrician will need.

Ongoing ownership costs

Cedar is naturally rot- and insect-resistant, so maintenance is light. Expect a small annual bill for stones, a periodic exterior refresh if you want to keep the wood dark, and modest electricity use — an hour-long session on a 6kW heater typically costs less than a load of laundry to run.
